hey people, just another poem (:
Title: Dinner Table
it was meant to be warm,
meant to be glad.
but everyone seems to be dumb,
and faces wrote the word sad.
i looked forward to it,
visualising the noise and smiles.
candles lit,
have i wasted those miles?
i felt all alone,
in the crowd.
i'm sorry for the tone,
but you know what it's about.
but, in the midst of sorrow,
i see your faces.
the seeds i sow,
sprouted in your presence.
finally i awakened.
in the silence,
there was much concern,
thoroughly hidden...
picking up the fork and spoon,
looking into the reflection.
i was so much of a boon,
to not have given my fullest attention.
but temperatures raise,
with presence of a dove.
i fall into daze,
in all the love.
